About the role

We invite you to join the Management Team as a Finance Manager at Pon.Bike Lithuania and become a part of the world-leading bicycle family Pon.Bike. You will be a part of the global Finance & Control department and will report directly to the CFO at Pon.Bike Operations and to Plant Manager at Pon.Bike Lithuania with a dotted line. You will be responsible for your team at the Finance Department (~3 FTE in the beginning), with the main goals to ensure the smooth finance process at the company and financial health (cost, net working capital and cash).

Your responsibilities:

  • Reporting figures and analysis to Pon group and Plant manager.

  • Analyzing forecasts and budgets and explaining any discrepancies on revenue, costs, net working capital and cash

  • Intensive financial support of the Plant manager and production team and propagating the financial role to production-related departments such as purchasing, mechanical engineering, product management and data group.  

  • Drafting improvement and optimizations proposals within the plant regarding costing and calculating business cases.

  • Preparing management reports for internal and external purposes with regard to cost prices, product groups and purchasing channels.

  • Acting as an information hub between the Plant manager, various production departments, IT, and the Finance department.

  • Acting as a sparring partner and advisor for the Plant manager, production departments and Finance.

  • Analyze, determine and improve cost prices and pricing structure towards the (internal) customers.

  • Manage the communication and alignment with the (internal) customers and suppliers.

We expect that you:

  • Have at least 5 years of work experience in a similar field, preferably gained within BIG-4 Accountancy, a professional production organization or a large corporation (experience in a Dutch company would be an advantage).  

  • Have experience as a finance manager or finance business partner, in which you carry out the financial role within the production team and related department (being able to deal with different interests) and good basic financial knowledge, e.g. accounting rules, production accounting, cost prices and variances. 

  • Have a bachelor degree in financial or business economics. 

  • Have excellent communication skills in both Lithuanian and English (Dutch language might be an advantage).

  • From the personality perspective are independent, entrepreneurial and critical with own initiative for improvement and optimization.

  • Have excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Have good knowledge of the principles of managing, coaching, motivating and influencing employees.

  • Knowledge and experience in using BI/IT systems such as Qliksense and SAP is a plus for developing and analyzing data and mathematical models and calculating business scenarios, above average Excel skills.
